3 Browns Most Likely To Be Traded Before Roster Cutdown Day

Browns Have Perfect Trade Opportunity Ahead of Roster Cutdown Day

The Browns could potentially net an impressive return in exchange for several players.

The NFL requires all teams to reduce their rosters to 53 players by Tuesday at 4:00 PM ET. The Cleveland Browns have already made 21 roster moves to get their roster to the required size. However, they could still make more moves before the deadline. One player who could be on the move is wide receiver David Bell. Bell was a third-round pick by the Browns in the 2022 NFL Draft. However, he has failed to impress in his rookie season. Bell has only caught two passes for 16 yards in three preseason games. Another player who could be traded is running back Kareem Hunt. Hunt is a talented running back, but he is entering the final year of his contract. The Browns could trade Hunt to a team that is looking for a running back. In return, the Browns could get a draft pick or another player. The Browns could also trade defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney is a three-time Pro Bowler, but he is also entering the final year of his contract. The Browns could trade Clowney to a team that is looking for a pass rusher. In return, the Browns could get a draft pick or another player. Trading one of these players would free up cap space and roster spots for the Browns. It would also allow the Browns to get something in return for a player that they are going to cut anyway.
