The Atlanta Braves have added a familiar name to their organization by selecting left-handed pitcher Cam Caminiti with the 24th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. Cam is the son of former Padres outfielder Chris Caminiti and the cousin of the late Padres star Ken Caminiti. Cam is considered one of the top high school pitchers in the nation and is known for his impressive fastball and curveball. He is a graduate of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California.
