Breel Embolo, the Swiss forward for AS Monaco, has had his career plagued by injuries. From minor setbacks to major surgeries, Embolo has faced numerous challenges on the path to his footballing success.

Embolo's injury history dates back to his early days at Basel. In 2014, he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that kept him out of action for over a year. Since then, he has had a series of muscle and ankle injuries that have limited his playing time.

In 2017, Embolo underwent surgery to repair a torn ankle ligament. The injury occurred during a training session with the Swiss national team. Embolo missed several months of action and only returned to full fitness towards the end of the season.

In 2019, Embolo suffered a hamstring injury that ruled him out of the UEFA Nations League semi-finals. The injury was sustained during a training session with Switzerland. Embolo missed several weeks of action and only returned to playing in October.

Embolo's latest injury setback occurred in May 2022. He suffered a muscle injury in training and missed the final few games of the Ligue 1 season. Embolo was included in the Swiss squad for the UEFA Nations League but was not fit enough to play.
